Abstract 

An abundance of new opportunities have arisen in the legal field for nurses. One such area of specialty practice involves the legal nurse consultant. This article outlines the basics of what job tasks a legal nurse consultant might undertake, the level of knowledge and skill required, and the various areas within the consultant field itself that are open.
